Man Who Tried To Get Eaten Alive By Snake Immediately Regretted It

A man who tried to get eaten alive by a snake experienced immediate regret.

In 2014, conservationist Paul Rosolie attempted a shocking experiment: to be consumed alive by a giant green anaconda to raise awareness about the Amazon’s destruction. “I wanted to do something that was going to grab people’s attention,” he said.Rosolie wore a custom carbon fiber suit equipped with oxygen and cameras. As he provoked the snake, it lunged, wrapping its powerful coils around him. “I’m getting coils over me,” Rosolie said. “She’s got my arms pinned. She knows there’s nothing I can do.”

During the ordeal, Rosolie struggled to breathe, and his heart rate soared. Though protected by the suit, he immediately regretted the experience, describing intense pressure and discomfort. The team monitored him closely and eventually freed him.

The terrifying stunt, captured by Discovery Channel, sparked global conversations about conservation. While some criticized the ethics of the act, Rosolie emphasized his goal: “It actually started with me watching the rainforest get burned and getting really frustrated that people weren’t as excited about it as I was.”
