Seventeen-year-old Pheobe Bishop has been missing since May 15, 2025. She was last seen at Bundaberg Airport at 8:30 a.m., wearing grey sweatpants and a green tank top, but never boarded her flight.
A grey Hyundai ix35 linked to her last movements was seized, along with her home in Gin Gin. Both have been declared crime scenes. Guns were found in the car, and her roommate, Tanika Kristan Bromley, was arrested on unrelated weapons charges.Police are now searching Good Night Scrub National Park with specialized units. “Several items of interest” have been found and are undergoing forensic testing. Authorities are asking anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage from May 15–18 in Bundaberg or Gin Gin to come forward.
Pheobe’s mother, Kylie Johnson, said the family is devastated. In her final TikTok post, Pheobe mentioned family issues and wanting to leave home for good.Witnesses said she looked “hungry” and was struggling financially before disappearing. Her other roommate, James Wood, has been questioned but is not a suspect. Police continue to follow leads and urge the public to help bring Pheobe home safely.
