Though doctors initially gave him only 12 months to live, Luke defied expectations, enduring multiple chemotherapy rounds and surpassing prognoses even as his health declined. His wife Beckey recalled his humor and resilience, with Luke joking just weeks prior that he was “still alive and kicking.”
