Little Orphan Prays in Church for Mom to Come for Him, ‘I’ll Take You,’ He Hears One Day

Six-year-old Alan, an orphaned boy, often cried in church, praying for his mother to come for him. One day, as he wept, he was startled to hear a voice behind him say, “I’ll take you.” It was Annette, the mother he had longed for but never met. Annette revealed she had left Alan at a shelter as a teen, forced by her parents who disapproved of her pregnancy. Now married with a young daughter, her longing to be with Alan had grown.

Annette took steps to regain custody, undergoing a DNA test that proved their connection. But reuniting with her son came at a cost. Her husband filed for divorce, and her parents disowned her. Determined, Annette moved abroad, raising her two children independently, finding peace and fulfillment despite the sacrifices she made.

God answers prayers in unexpected ways, sometimes through those we least expect.
