A jet reportedly went off the runway after landing at Scottsdale Airport, crashing into another aircraft and leaving one person dead and others injured.
According to the FAA, a Learjet 35A veered off the runway and collided with a parked Gulfstream 200 at Scottsdale Airport on February 10.
Scottsdale Fire Captain Dave Folio stated, “Five people were involved—one died, two were critically injured, one had non-life-threatening injuries, and another declined treatment.” The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m., temporarily halting flights.
At 2:50 p.m., the airport posted on X, confirming the accident happened upon arrival at runway 21. The Gulfstream 200 was parked on private property when it was struck.
Emergency crews, including firefighters, police, and FAA investigators, remain at the scene as the runway stays closed.
