Elon Musk has responded to claims that he fathered his 13th child with author Ashley St Clair.
On Saturday (February 15), St Clair announced on X: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.” She explained she had kept it private “to protect our child’s privacy and safety,” but felt forced to speak as the media planned to expose the news.
St Clair requested reporters to “honour our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting,” wishing for her baby to “grow in a normal and safe environment.” She captioned her post with “Alea Iacta Est,” meaning “the die is cast.”
Her representative, Brian Glicklich, confirmed the pair had been “working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child,” but said a reporter’s actions made private negotiations impossible. He added, “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role.”
Musk reacted to the news with a single word: “Whoa.”
St Clair later reportedly wrote she had been “trying to communicate” with Musk but received no response. The post was deleted.
