In Mobile, Alabama, an armed robbery attempt at a Family Dollar was thwarted when a legally armed Good Samaritan shot the suspect, 18-year-old Adric White.
White, already out on bond for a previous robbery, allegedly held store employees at gunpoint, demanding money. Witnesses said he ordered workers and customers to comply, unaware that an armed bystander was present.
The bystander fired, stopping the crime. Authorities confirmed White suffered gunshot wounds but survived.
