MSNBC Cuts More Hosts in Major Shake-Up
MSNBC is undergoing a major overhaul, axing three more left-wing hosts after reports of Joy Reid’s departure. Ayman Mohyeldin, Katie Phang, and Jonathan Capehart’s shows were canceled as part of a restructuring under new leadership.
An MSNBC official confirmed the network was “making several changes to our programming lineup” and would focus on ensemble shows to align with “audience needs.”
Rebecca Kutler, now leading MSNBC, has convinced Rachel Maddow to anchor nightly for the first 100 days of the Trump administration, sidelining Alex Wagner. The network continues to face criticism and declining viewership.
