A tattooed father transforms himself for the sake of his small daughter.

We’ve all made choices we regret, but few are as visible as Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble’s. The Australian body modification enthusiast has over 200 tattoos, along with other extreme procedures.

Ethan began altering his body at 11 by stretching his ears. Over the years, he underwent surgeries like splitting his tongue and removing his belly button. However, his full-body tattoos are what draw the most attention. He estimates spending around $60,000 AUD ($39,000 USD) on his appearance.

Recently, Ethan admitted, “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos… I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.” His main concern is how his appearance affects his young daughter, especially during school runs.

“The face is a big thing… can lead to a lot of problems… I wish that I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face,” he shared.

To undo some of his past choices, Ethan has been undergoing laser surgery for a year. “I’ve probably gone over the full thing six or seven times… I want to think that a lot of the anxiety was from just having a face full of tattoos.” Despite the pain, he remains optimistic, saying, “I’m just clearing the canvas.”
