Man Who Tried To Get Eaten Alive By Snake Filmed The Whole Thing

In 2014, conservationist Paul Rosolie attempted a daring experiment — to be eaten alive by a green anaconda — to raise awareness about the Amazon rainforest’s rapid destruction.

Rosolie wore a custom carbon fiber suit with cameras and an oxygen supply to withstand the snake’s grip. During the Discovery Channel documentary, he provoked the anaconda, which coiled around him. “I’m getting coils over me… She’s got my arms pinned. She knows there’s nothing I can do,” he recalled.

Despite the suit’s protection, Rosolie endured immense pressure, struggled to breathe, and felt severe pain. The team monitored his vitals and intervened when his condition worsened.

The stunt sparked mixed reactions. While it highlighted the Amazon’s plight, some criticized it as unethical for potentially harming the snake.

Rosolie’s risky act opened global conversations on conservation, showing the lengths some will go to protect biodiversity.
