King Charles Gives ‘Deeply Heartbreaking’ Cancer Update

King Charles has spoken publicly about his cancer battle, describing it as “deeply personal” and “deeply heartbreaking.”

Speaking 15 months after his diagnosis, he addressed cancer survivors and support workers at Buckingham Palace on April 30.

He thanked those who “selflessly” help the 390,000 people diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year. “Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones,” the King wrote.
