James Bond Star Who Appeared In Goldeneye And Tomorrow Never Dies Dies Aged 89

Hollywood actor Joe Don Baker died on May 7, 2025, at the age of 89. Best known for his work in Walking Tall and three James Bond films, Baker is remembered as both a talented performer and a kind-hearted man.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Don,” his family shared. “Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will always remain.”

Born in Groesbeck, Texas, in 1936, Baker played football at North Texas State College before joining the Army. He later studied acting in New York at the Actor’s Studio, making his Broadway debut in the early 1960s before moving to Los Angeles.
