After the passing of Pope Francis at age 88, the Vatican elected 69-year-old Robert Francis Prevost—now Pope Leo XIV—as the 267th pope and the first U.S.-born pontiff.

While the world sees him as a spiritual leader, his brother John Prevost paints a more relatable picture. “First we do Wordle… then Words With Friends. It’s something to keep his mind off life in the real world,” he told NBC News.

John also joked about teasing the pope with the movie Conclave, which he had just watched: “So he knew how to behave.”
