As stomach cancer progresses, symptoms become more severe. One of the most obvious signs is black stool, caused when “blood vessels in the tumor rupture” or ulcers bleed, turning the stool dark — a serious red flag of internal bleeding.

Patients also experience rapid weight loss because their bodies can’t properly digest or absorb food. Combined with a reduced appetite and constant abdominal pain, this leads to severe malnourishment.

Frequent gastrointestinal bleeding results in “pale skin and a lack of vitality.” Over time, the patient becomes visibly weak and emaciated.

In summary, black stool, sudden weight loss, and extreme fatigue are critical signs of late-stage stomach cancer that require immediate medical attention.
