Originally from the Bronx and considered a hip-hop pioneer, Allen was actively promoting an upcoming EP and the 2025 House Party Immersive Tour before his death.

His final Instagram post showed him singing at a party with the caption, “I ain’t playin’.”

Tributes poured in from across the music world, including heartfelt messages from Eric B. and DJ Premier. Allen’s influence and energy left a lasting mark on hip-hop.

He would have turned 64 on February 26.
