Anna’s journey began in late 2024 when she was diagnosed with a Grade 4 diffuse midline glioma, an aggressive brain tumor. She had been preparing to start college when symptoms began — facial numbness and leg tingling. Doctors first suspected Bell’s Palsy, but further testing revealed a brain lesion.
She detailed her emotional journey in an August 2024 TikTok: “I really do think that we’re gonna fight this and beat this, whatever it is,” she said, radiating hope. Her honesty and faith inspired many as she underwent MRIs, a spinal tap, and brain surgery for a biopsy.
Outside of social media, Anna was a high school graduate, a receptionist at a cancer clinic, and active in her church. Her funeral is set for May 29 at Galilee Christian Church, with donations encouraged for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in her honor.
Her legacy endures in her strength, kindness, and unshakable faith.
