The girls were reported missing on May 30 when they failed to return home, prompting a manhunt.Authorities have charged Decker, 32, with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of kidnapping. “It is unknown whether Decker is currently armed, but he may pose a significant risk,” police warned, adding that he has military experience and may be homeless.
Fox 13 Seattle reported that Decker’s truck was found near the campsite with “two bloody handprints.” Nearby, investigators discovered a tent, cooler, and personal items inside the vehicle, including “blankets, food, car seats and a wallet.”Cell phone data revealed Decker had visited the campsite a day before the girls were taken. A preliminary court report stated the sisters most likely died by asphyxiation.A GoFundMe campaign created for their mother, Whitney Decker, has raised over \$357,000. “The pain of this loss is immeasurable,” wrote organizer Amy Edwards, adding, “We are heartbroken to share that the girls have since passed.”
