Natural wart remedies are popular for their simplicity and easy-to-find ingredients. While not scientifically proven, many people claim success with them.
Apple cider vinegar is one of the most well-known options. Its acetic acid is thought to “break down wart tissue and combat the virus responsible for warts.”
To try it, soak a cotton ball in vinegar, place it on the wart, and secure it with a bandage overnight. In the morning, rinse the area. Repeat daily. Over time, “the wart may darken, shrink, and eventually fall off,” though results vary.
Watch for irritation. “If the area becomes too red or painful, pause the treatment” to let your skin recover.
This method is low-cost and easy to try but doesn’t work for everyone. Some stubborn warts may need a doctor’s care.
Always consult a healthcare provider if the wart doesn’t improve or if you’re unsure about using home remedies.
