As everyone gathered in the Oval Office, all eyes were on Donald Trump and Elon Musk discussing government cuts—until Musk’s four-year-old son, “Lil X,” stole the show.
What began as a serious political discussion quickly turned into entertainment. As Musk spoke about his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, his son kept pulling his focus away. At one point, Trump grinned and introduced him: “This is X, and he’s a great guy—high IQ.” Laughter filled the room.
Musk tried to continue but was interrupted again when Lil X started playing with his ears. “Sorry for this,” Musk laughed. “I might enjoy this, but as he’s sticking his fingers in my ears…”
Born in 2020 to Musk and musician Grimes, Lil X has made occasional public appearances. He was even in a Trump family photo on election night, where Trump called him “a gorgeous, perfect boy.”
A White House video later showed the child leaning against the Resolute Desk, reminiscent of John F. Kennedy Jr.’s iconic moment in 1962. Wearing a brown coat and a “cool chain,” Lil X left his mark on history—just by being himself.
