McDonald’s Customer Chokes on Plastic Shard in Quarter Pounder
A McDonald’s customer in Brisbane, Australia, had a terrifying experience after choking on a plastic shard in his Quarter Pounder.
Craig Freeman, 50, said he “couldn’t breathe and began to panic” before forcing himself to vomit and discovering the jagged plastic.
The next day, doctors found “severe inflammation” and internal bleeding. Despite medication, he continued to suffer from vomiting and pain.
Freeman has spent thousands on medical bills and criticized McDonald’s after they closed the investigation. “Fast-food restaurants must do more to ensure food safety,” he said.
