Trump and Zelenskyy’s Oval Office Clash
All hell broke loose in the Oval Office as Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy clashed over a minerals deal. Trump accused Zelenskyy of “gambling with World War III” and being “disrespectful to this country.” The meeting ended with no deal signed.
Russia reveled in the fallout. Dmitry Medvedev mocked Zelenskyy as an “insolent pig,” while Maria Zakharova praised Trump for not hitting him, calling it a “miracle of restraint.”
Zelenskyy defended himself, saying, “I’m not sure we did something bad.” European leaders, including Keir Starmer, reaffirmed their support for Ukraine.
