The series is a faithful adaptation of JK Rowling’s novels, with each season focusing on one book. It’s set to premiere in 2026, produced by HBO in collaboration with Brontë Film and Warner Bros. Rowling, despite recent controversies, remains an executive producer. HBO responded to criticism, stating: “She’s entitled to her personal views… Harry Potter is not secretly being infused with anything.”
