America’s most cherished family tragically died in a plane crash while traveling to a concert.
Seven members of the beloved gospel group, the Nelons, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and son-in-law Nathan Kistler, perished in the crash. Also on board were pilot Larry Haynie, his wife Melissa, and family teammate Melanie Hodges.
Nelon Streetman, the sole survivor, was not on the flight. The plane crashed over Wyoming en route to Alaska for the Gaither Homecoming Cruise. Emergency personnel found the wreckage engulfed in flames, with no survivors. The Wyoming Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatal outcome.
The surviving family expressed gratitude for the prayers and support, particularly for Nelon Streetman, their unborn child, and Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark.
