Kanye West’s Twitter account appears to have been deactivated after he posted an eight-word message to Elon Musk while criticizing Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl.
On February 9, a bizarre ad featuring West—filmed at his dentist’s office—aired during the game. “What’s up guys. I spent all the money for the commercial on these new teeth,” he said. Meanwhile, he targeted Swift, 35, for “singing” along to Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance.
Days earlier, West made controversial remarks about his wife, Bianca Censori, saying, “I have dominion over my wife… she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval, you stupid a** woke pawns.”
His Twitter activity escalated when he declared, “I love Hitler. Now what b****es,” prompting a sensitive content warning. Celebrities like David Schwimmer urged Musk to ban him, warning his words incite real-world violence.
Before logging out, West thanked Musk: “It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip.”
