Camel Kills Owner After Being Left in Scorching Heat

An Indian man, Urjaram, was killed by his camel after leaving it tied up in extreme heat all day. When he tried to untie it, the camel became aggressive.

“The camel grabbed him by the neck, threw him to the ground, bit his body, and severed his head,” villager Thakara Ram told The Times of India. It took six hours and 25 people to control the animal.

Though camels are usually friendly, attacks can be “extremely violent and unexpected.” Similar incidents have occurred in Texas, Mexico, and California.
