Emergency services are responding to an “incident” after a Delta Airlines plane crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airport confirmed, “Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”
The flight, Delta 4819 from Minneapolis, ended up flipped on its side on a snowy runway. Constable Sarah Patten stated, “Most of the passengers are out and unharmed, but we’re still on scene investigating.”
Flight attendants’ union AFA-CWA posted, “Reports are there are no fatalities. Please do not speculate as everyone works to gather information.”

Local media CP24 reported at least eight people were injured, though their conditions are unclear. There were around 80 passengers on board.
The Toronto area had nine inches of snow over the weekend, with runways being cleared before the flight’s arrival. This incident follows a deadly American Airlines crash in Washington, D.C., weeks earlier, involving a collision with a military helicopter, killing 67 people.
