Egyptian Stray Cat ‘Cairo’ Accidentally Flies to London, Finds a New Home

A tiny Egyptian cat, just a month and a half old, was searching for food near Cairo Airport when she unknowingly boarded an Emirates Airlines flight to Birmingham, England.

After traveling 3,000 miles, airport workers discovered her among the luggage and sent her for medical and psychological observation for 14 days. Emirates Airlines even offered to cover her medical costs.

Named “Cairo,” the lucky feline was put up for adoption. Within a week, she found a loving English family—going from a stray to a pampered pet in Europe!
