President Trump has to stop live speech as he rushed from podium after ‘medical emergency’

President Donald Trump was forced to cut his remarks short during a press conference on Friday after a sudden disruption. *”Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary, had to adjourn the briefing early,”* with reporters being rushed out as the screen abruptly went black.

At the same time, Dr. Mehmet Oz—recently appointed to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)—was being sworn in. During the ceremony, one of Dr. Oz’s children reportedly experienced a medical emergency. According to *FOX News*, *“The press is being escorted out of the room, so we don’t know what’s going on there.”*

Leavitt could be heard urgently telling the press to leave. The White House has not released an official statement, but video footage later showed a young girl being assisted out of the Oval Office.

*Mirror US* reported that Dr. Oz’s wife, Lisa, appeared visibly concerned as Trump momentarily stepped away from the podium to assess the situation. Dr. Oz also rushed over to help, adding to the chaotic scene.

The press conference ended suddenly, leaving viewers and reporters uncertain about the emergency that unfolded.
