During a royal visit to Bradford, King Charles offered a rare and hopeful update on his cancer journey.

While meeting local business owners at Impact Hub Yorkshire, the monarch, 76, gave a thumbs-up when asked about his health and said, “I’d like to think I’m on the better side [of my cancer journey].”

He was speaking with Safeena Khan, a cancer survivor who runs a floristry business. “He asked me how I was, and I asked him how he was,” Khan recalled. “It was a lovely conversation.”
