A tragic plane crash claimed the lives of seven members of the Nelons, a beloved gospel family, including Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark and their daughter Amber. Autumn Nelon Streetman, the sole survivor, shared her grief and thanked supporters, saying, “I am overwhelmed by the love and prayers.”
The family was en route to Alaska for the Gaither Homecoming Cruise when their plane crashed in Wyoming. Witnesses described seeing the aircraft “engulfed in flames” before impact, leaving no survivors.
Inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2016, the Nelons were known for gospel hits like “I Shall Not Be Moved.” Their music and faith touched countless lives.
The gospel community mourns this devastating loss, with fans and fellow artists expressing shock and sorrow. “Their legacy will live on in their music and ministry,” one tribute read.
Amid the tragedy, Autumn remains strong in faith, asking for prayers and remembering her family’s love for music and ministry.
