Woman Whose Face Was Tattooed Against Her Will Has ‘Life Changed’ After Stranger Offers To Help With Removal

A woman, Taylor White, is getting her facial tattoos removed for free by Removery, thanks to TikTok user Karridy Askenasy. Taylor was forcibly tattooed at 21 after being intoxicated and abused by her partner and his friends.

Waking up in pain, Taylor saw “really horrible things” inked on her face. Though she tried to hide them with makeup, her supervisor told her, “You can’t live like this,” offering to cover the tattoos with blackout ink in 2008.

Despite the cover-up, Taylor struggled with job rejections. Years later, TikToker Karridy stumbled upon her livestream and felt moved, saying her situation “was preventing her from doing the most good possible.”

He contacted hospitals for help and offered to pay for laser removal. Removery stepped in, providing the treatment for free, which could take up to two years.

Now 37, Taylor plans to work in mental health care, stating, “This is really removing a part of me that I no longer represent or live in.”
