Demi Moore Offers Health Update on Ex-Husband Bruce Willis Amid Dementia Battle: ‘He Is Stable’

Demi Moore Opens Up About Bruce Willis’ Health Amid His Diagnosis

Demi Moore, 61, shared heartfelt insights about her ex-husband Bruce Willis’ health during a candid moment at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival. Moore, honored with the Career Achievement in Acting Award on Sunday, October 13, spoke about Willis’ ongoing battle with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which was publicly announced in February 2023 by his wife, Emma Heming Willis.

“The disease is what the disease is,” Moore expressed at the festival, according to *People*. “You have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is.” Despite the challenges posed by his diagnosis, Moore reassured that Willis, 69, remains “stable” at this stage.

Moore and Willis share a rich history together. They were married for 13 years, from 1987 to 2000, and have three daughters: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30. The actress expanded further on her outlook, emphasizing the importance of acceptance and being present in such difficult circumstances.

Willis’ condition, frontotemporal dementia, affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, leading to changes in personality, behavior, and language. Moore’s words reflect a compassionate and understanding approach, highlighting the need for support and strength for those facing similar challenges.
