Donald Trump recently completed his first physical exam of his second term, boasting, *“I got every single question right,”* after scoring a perfect 30/30 on a cognitive test. The White House confirmed he *“exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health,”* declaring him fully fit for office.
However, new photos showing Trump noticeably thinner have sparked concerns. Captured while boarding Marine One, the images reveal he’s lost about 30lbs (2 stone) since 2022. Once known for loving McDonald’s, Diet Coke, and well-done steaks, it appears Trump has changed his lifestyle.
While some applaud his slimmer appearance, others remain cautious. Dr. Daniel Atkinson said, *“An almost 80-year-old with a busy schedule might be more susceptible to conditions that cause weight loss… Diabetes, for instance, can trigger weight fluctuations.”* He emphasized this doesn’t confirm Trump has diabetes but pointed to it as one possible explanation.
The White House hasn’t addressed the weight loss directly but maintains that Trump passed his health assessments.
Previously, concerns were also raised after photos showed Trump’s hands appearing bruised during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, prompting further speculation about his overall health.
